Register to vote or change your registration at Village Hall. To register, you must appear in person with 2 forms of identification:

  • Picture identification
  • Identification with your current River Forest address

Registration is closed by Cook County law 30 days before an election and for 5 days after an election.

Early Voting

Early voting is open to all registered voters whether or not you will be out of town on election day. You may early vote at Maybrook Square (located east of 1st Avenue north of the Eisenhower Expressway in Maywood) or any other Cook County early voting site.

Early voting for the March 20, 2012 Presidential Primary Election will take place from February 27 - March 5.

College Student Voting

College students may fill out an application for the Student Absentee Voter Program. The student will automatically receive an absentee ballot application before every election for the next 2 years.
