The purpose of this task force is to examine in detail the September
2008 flood, and determine what factors may have contributed to
allow the Des Plaines River to overflow into River Forest neighborhoods.
Once these factors have been identified, the Task Force will
make recommendations with a goal to lessen the risk of future
flooding within the Village.
