2010-2011 Vehicle Stickers
River Forest vehicle stickers must be displayed in the lower
right-hand corner of the windshield for all vehicles registered
to a River
Forest address. To avoid waiting in line, residents are encouraged
to renew by mailing the application
form with the appropriate
payment, or utilize the drop box located in front of the
Village Hall. If purchasing in person, Village Hall is located
at 400
Park Avenue. Office hours are Monday 8am-7pm, Tuesday-Friday
8am-4:30pm.
The fee schedule for sticker is as follows:
- Passenger cars $45
- Motorcycles and motorbikes $45
- Trucks less than 5,000 lbs. $50
- Trucks over 5,000 lbs. $70
- Recreational vehicle (RV) $50
- Senior citizen discount (1 vehicle per
household) $25
The Village is continuing to offer a discount to senior citizens
on their vehicle sticker. The discounted price of $25.00 is
only available to those senior 65 years or older and only applies
to one vehicle per household.
The following penalties apply if sticker is purchased after
July 14th.
- July 15 to August 14: $10.00
- August 15th to October 14th: $15.00
- After October 15th: $20.00
Vehicles registered or housed (kept in a garage or rarely
driven) within River Forest that do not have a sticker
displayed
