Voting Information

You may register to vote or change your registration from your former address at the Village Hall. You must appear in person with two forms of identification – one must be a picture id and the other (or both) must have your current River Forest address. Registration is closed (by County law) thirty days before and election and for 5 days after the election.

Absentee Voting has been replaced with Early Voting. Early Voting is open to all registered voters whether or not you will be out of town on election day. You may early vote at Maybrook Square (located east of 1st Avenue north of the Eisenhower Expressway) in Maywood.

College Student Voting: if your student is registered in River Forest, he/she may fill out an application for Student Absentee Voter Program. The student will automatically receive an absentee ballot application before every election for the next two years.
